Popular Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke, best known as Davido, has revealed that he does not have anything against his colleague, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, best known as Wizkid.

Davido was recently in an interview on BBC radio, and he was asked why he was seen with Wizkid before the launch of his Timeless album in 2023. He explained that the man in him was to make fans know that he and Wizkid were cool.

According to the now trending video, Davido explained that he reached out to one of his key fans in a bid to avoid any drama with Wizkid fans known as FC, that could affect his album.

“I reached out to one of my fans, Tomiwa. The guy that kind of gets to everybody. I called him and I said, look my album is coming out on Thursday. Please leave all these Wizkid fans. Please don’t fight anybody.

“I was with Wizkid a couple of days ago and we were not fighting. Don’t fight anybody because I want my album to come out clean, but Tomiwa started fighting and my album leaked two days before the launch. But these fans are amazing as well, they also have positive sides.”
