Division Among Nigerians As Cubana Chief Priest Is Granted Bail
Following the charges of Naira mutilation against popular socialite, Cubana Chief Priest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), the socialite has appeared in court where he pleaded not guilty to all the charges levelled against him.
The Federal High Court in Lagos State has granted him a bail in the sum of N10m with two sureties in like sum.
The decision of the Court to grant Cubana Chief priest a bail has been met with groanings and immense criticism from Nigerians, as they referred to a similar case of popular transgender, Bobrisky who was hit with a six month prison sentence for the same offense without the option of a bail or fine.
