Nollywoodgists.com has learnt that veteran comic actor, Moses Olaiya, better known as Baba Sala, has been admitted to the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, Oyo State.

He was reportedly rushed to the reputable hospital on Monday night by his family after a relapse at his Ilesa residence in Osun State.

Nollywoodgists.com gathered that the actor is responding to treatment, but it is not certain when he would be discharged from the hospital.

It would be recalled that not too long ago, the actor celebrated his 80th birthday.

He started his acting career as a highlife musician in 1964 and was the leader of the group known as Federal Rhythm Dandies. The comedian is said to have discovered and mentored legendary Juju musician, King Sunny Ade.
