Darey Art Alade Visits Lagos Island Maternity Hospital

RnB singer, Darey Art Alade, recently visited the Lagos Island Maternity Hospital, the same place he was given birth to some years ago.

He was welcomed by officials of the health institution on his arrival.

Darey explained that on getting to the hospital, he felt some kind of connection since it was there he first breath air to life.

He disclosed that nurses on duty when he was born battled hard to save him because his mother had health issues back then.

Explaining how he felt on getting to the hospital, the singer said, “Glad to visit Lagos Island Maternity Hospital - the hospital where I was born. I got a really warm welcome from the staff too!

"It was pretty nostalgic (Not that I remember my birth, lol). But I felt somewhat connected to the spot, knowing that this was where I took my first breath after several health issues with my mum as I was finally birthed.

"The thought that this grown man was once a baby, had to be fed, clothed, washed and all. Wow! No matter how big we become in this life, we must remember that we all started small.”
