Prof. Yemi Osinbajo Presence At Olamide's 'The Beast Unleashed' Concert Stirs Controversy
Nollywoodgists.com reporter was at the just concluded Olamide's 'The Beast Unleashed' concert which was held at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos over the weekend.
Although it was indeed a star-studded night as lots of celebrities from different genres of the entertainment industry came in troops to support one of their own, but apart from that, there was something to talk about for a long time.
Interestingly, amongst the guests were two strong political figures, Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State and Professor Yemi Osinbajo, Mohammadu Buhari's running mate in the forthcoming presidential elections.
The 'baba' (Osinbajo) was looking lively as he danced to the different songs played by the DJs or performed live to thrill the audience.
The Prof. who had maintained a low profile until he was announced as Gen. Buhari's partner, was cajoled by Comedienne Princess to make some 'childish' moves which didn't go down well with some of the audience.
In a sharp reaction, murmurs and side-talks were heard from all corners of the filled-to-capacity hall.
While some were of the opinion that he should have maintained his 'normal' low profile than coming to embarrass himself at a night event taken over by young and vibrant youths, others argued that his 'faith' should be questioned for coming to 'The Beast Unleashed'.
Prof Osinbajo is a Pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) headed by Pastor E.A. Adeboye.
