Ghana-based Nollywood star actress, Genevieve Nnaji, is among the eminent personalities expected storm Festac Town for the maiden edition of Miss Isolo Beauty Pageant, which will take place on 11 February, 2007 at the D'Jamz Baze club. NollywoodReel gathered that the presence of the former Face of Lux actress at the much-awaited beauty contest is expected to boost the morale of the participants as well as add glamour to the event.

Other music stars expected there include D'banj, Tony Tetuila, Wasiu Ayinde (KI), Basket Mouth, Abagana and the genius, Julius Agwu. According to the pageant's co-ordinator, Prince Gill Ogbonna, part of the aims of organising the contest is to promote a competitive spirit for excellence in Isolo and Lagos State in general. According to him, "It will also support the government in its efforts towards promoting culture, tourism and entertainment as well as improve the economic and social status of the contestants." The winner of the pageant, he said, will receive a brand new car, while the first and second runners-ups will smile home with the sum of N200,000 and N100,000 respectively.
