Contrary to the rumours making the rounds that cross over actress, Bukky Wright and Nike Peller are at war over a man, Peller has denied it all. Nike told Entertainment Cafe that the perceived war between them was only acted in a Yoruba flick that will be released soon. “I was shocked to read in the papers that Bukky Wright and I are fighting over a man. We both have our names to protect and can never stoop so low to fight over a man.

Moreover, the only place I have had a similar experience with her is in a Yoruba film we both featured, where we played rivals over a man,” she said, adding, “I have done quite a number of films after that project and I can't remember the actor involved. In the real sense, we don't usually know the title of the movies until they are released.” She also said she did not react to the story because it has added to her rising profile, by appearing on the cover of soft-sell magazines, “after all, Bukky or nobody in the industry knows my fiancé and he too has only taken the story with a pinch of salt,” she said.

It was reported recently that both actresses were at loggerheads over Bukky Wright's alleged secret romance with Nike's fiancé, who was said to be in London. It was also gathered that Bukky met her colleague's fiancé during a recent trip to the Queen's land and began a secret romance with him. The cat was let out of the bag by gossipers who informed Nike. Efforts to reach Bukky Wright for her comment on the issue proved abortive as at the time of filing this report.
