Daniel Regha Reacts To Eedris Abdulkareem's Banned New Single
Popular social media commentator and celebrity tormentor, Daniel Regha, has reacted to the ban on veteran rapper Eedris Abdulkareem's new single 'Tell Your Papa'.
Recall that the Nigerian Voice reported on Thursday, that the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has barred Nigerian radio and television stations from airing the trending song titled "Tell Your Papa" by veteran rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem.
The federal regulating agency cited "objectionable nature" of the song for the ban.
Taking to his X handle, Daniel Regha described the Eedris Abdulkareem's new banned single as dope. He praised how the song pointed out many of the problems, and created awareness about some controversies.
He, however, noted that the singer could have done a better chorus to call out Nigerian federal lawmakers.
Daniel Regha wrote on X:
"Tell Your Papa, Seyi", a dope song by Eedris Abdulkareem. I love how he pointed out many of our problems, and also created awareness about some controversies; However, he missed the chance to call-out Nigerian federal lawmakers. With a better chorus, the song would've been a hit like "This is Nigeria" by Falz."
