Popular Nollywood actress and filmmaker Mercy Aigbe has penned an appreciation message to her fans for streaming her recently released movie, Ada Omo Daddy, on Netflix.

The Nigerian Voice recalls that Mercy Aigbe, via her Instagram page a few weeks ago, announced that her 2023 hit movie Ada Omo Daddy would premiere on Netflix and Circuits.tv on February 21, 2025—barely a year after its initial release.

The movie, which officially debuted on Netflix on Friday, February 21st, has now become Nigeria's number one film on the streaming platform.

Taking to her Instagram page some minutes ago, Mercy Aigbe noted that this is a new week, which brings new energy and a new vibe.

She stated that she is starting this week feeling super pumped and energized. She attributed the new energy of the week to the amazing reception of Ada Omo Daddy by her fans.

She appreciated their efforts in ensuring that her movie remains the talk of the town.

Mercy Aigbe wrote:
