Popular Nigerian actress, Mercy Aigbe, has expressed joy as her hit movie 'Ada Omo Daddy' has now claimed the number 1 spot of Nigerian movies on Netflix.

The Nigerian Voice recalls that Mercy Aigbe, via her Instagram page a few weeks ago, announced that her 2023 hit movie Ada Omo Daddy would premiere on Netflix and Circuits.tv on February 21, 2025—barely a year after its initial release.

The movie which was officially released on Netflix on Friday, February 21st, has now become Nigeria's number 1 Film on the streaming platform.

Expressing her joy, Mercy Aigbe wrote:
"Ada Omo Daddy has officially claimed the throne as Nigeria's number 1 film @naijaonnetflix in just a day!
