Popular Nollywood actor Timini Egbuson has achieved a significant milestone with his first cinema movie, Reel Love, which emerged as the number one Nollywood film of the weekend, grossing a total of N99.2 million.

The movie, which premiered on Friday, February 14th, 2025—Valentine's Day—has since set multiple records. Reel Love now holds the title for the strongest Nollywood opening in 2025, the highest opening weekend for a debut producer, the fourth highest-grossing Nollywood opening weekend of all time, and the strongest opening for a Valentine's Day film in Nollywood history.

Timini took to his Instagram page to express his gratitude, captioning his post:
