Popular media personality, Oladotun Ojuolape Kayode, professionally known as Do2dtun, has shown support for renowned Nigerian comedian and actor, Ayo Makun, following the circulation of an AI-generated image depicting him and Yul Edochie's estranged wife, May Edochie, in a compromising pose.

The Nigerian Voice recalls that social media was thrown into a frenzy when an AI-generated image of Ayo Makun and May Edochie kissing, while dressed in promotional costumes during their trip to the United Kingdom for the premiere of AY’s film, The Waiter, surfaced online.

Addressing the images in an Instagram post late yesterday, Ayo Makun, via his verified Instagram page, appealed to online innovators to channel their immense creative talents toward building a better nation rather than tearing each other down.

Reacting to the AI-generated images, Do2dtun shared a tweet from his X handle via his Instagram page. The tweet, which was an open note to AY, described the actor as an amazing creative with years of experience and grace. He noted that the comedian is sometimes easy to judge and may not be perfect in a few ways, but emphasized that this is true for everyone.

Addressing the images, he clarified that they were AI-generated and should not be encouraged for such purposes.

Do2dtun's tweet reads:

No. I need you to know one thing, yes it's Ai and it should not be encouraged for this purpose BUT let me be honest, you are not doing anything wrong."
