Nigerian singer, Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo, best known as Blackface, has penned an open letter to legendary Nigerian singer, innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, and his wife, following their divorce saga.

The Nigerian Voice recalls that social media was thrown into disarray late on Monday following an announcement by the legendary singer 2Baba about his divorce from his wife, Annie Idibia.

Reacting to the announcement, Blackface penned an open letter to 2Baba and Annie on his Instagram page. According to him, I'm reaching out again this time to remind decorum and be civil with whatever proceedings you may be going through.

He further urged them to set good examples to this generation as role models.

Blackface wrote on Instagram:
"My open letter to Innocent Idibia and Annie Macaulay Idibia. I send you good tidings, Mr and Mrs Idibia. I’m reaching out at this time to remind us to show decorum and be civil with whatever proceedings you may be going through.

"As role models, we should always set good examples for this generation to emulate, and for older generations to be proud. Let’s keep it together as every relationship has ups and downs. I pray that God gives both of you the strength to scale through this. My regards to your families and my love to your kids."
