Lawyers Don't Work For Free, We Have Bills To Pay - Stan Alieke
Popular Nigerian lawyer, Stan Alieke, has stated that legal services are not free.
According to the popular legal representative, he stated that his law firm charges retainership fees before agreeing to become the legal representative of others.
He, however, noted that in some extreme cases, his firm can take up cases on Probono, which means for the public good or free of charge.
Stan Alieke made this known on his Instastory:
"Legal services ain't free. Lawyers don't work for free, we have bills to pay as well.
We charge retainership fees before we can become your lawyers and provide you with a full fledged legal representation, unless on exceptional cases, then we can take up your case on Probono."
