Popular Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Funke Akindele's movie 'Everybody Loves Jenifa', has now officially become the highest grossing film of all time in West Africa with 1.6 billion.

The Nigerian Voice recalls that Funke Akindele released her widely anticipated movie, 'Everybody Loves Jenifa' on Friday December 13th, 2024. The movie has since gone on to set new records in the movie industry.

Taking to her X handle, Funke Akindele expressed gratitude to God and her fans for helping her movie gross 1.6 billion at the box office, which officially makes it the highest grossing movie in West Africa.
