Popular Nigerian singer, Seun Kuti, has urged Nigerians not to involve him in the ruckus between Afrobeats star, Burna Boy, and his colleague Speed Darlington.

The Nigerian Voice recalls that Speed Darlington sparked uproar on social media when he shared a video holding a baby oil, and insinuated that Burna Boy was involved romantically with embattled American rapper, Diddy. He further suggested that Burna Boy's relationship with Diddy made him win the Grammys. Speed Darlington's action led to his arrest by the Nigeria Police Force.

Seun Kuti, during a recent Instagram live session, stated that he does not want to be involved in Burna Boy and Speed Darlington's Case. He also emphasized that receiving a diamond jewelry from Burna Boy does not automatically make him the singer's adviser.

In addition, Seun Kuti claimed that Speed Darlington's popularity was influenced by Diddy.

Seun Kuti said:
“Don’t involve me in Burna Boy & Speed Darlington’s case; because I collected a diamond from him doesn’t mean I’m his close adviser. Diddy was even the one who made Speed Darlington popular.

“He reposted ‘Bangdadang’ which made the song popular. I have done a lot of songs, and Diddy never posted any of them, but he reposted Speed Darlington’s song."
