Tonto Dikeh Lambasts Women Who Bodyshame Other Women
Popular Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, has lambasted the female gender who bodyshame their fellow females.
The actress' fury stems from how both the male and female gender have been bodyshaming women whose body changes after childbirth.
Reacting to this development, Tonto Dikeh, via her Instagram page, noted that before they bodyshame anyone, they should show their mothers. She described the act as hypocrisy on the part of the men and women who bodyshame other women for their body changes after childbirth.
Stressing further, she stated that instead of bodyshaming the women, self-reflection and empathy should be shown to them, considering the sacrifices and transformation their own mothers face in life.
Tonto Dikeh wrote on Instagram:
"Before you body shame anyone, show us your mother…
This statement highlights the hypocrisy of men/women who body-shame women, especially those whose physical changes result from natural processes like childbirth.
It calls for self-reflection and empathy, reminding them to consider the sacrifices and transformations women, including their own mothers, often go through in life.
Body shaming in 2024????
That’s quite unsophisticated."
