The aide of Delta State Governor, Ossai Ovie Success, has lambasted popular clergyman, Pastor Tobi Adegboyega for inviting music star Davido to his birthday party.

Pastor Tobi Adegboyega threw a birthday party on Sunday, ahead of his new age yesterday, November 11th. Videos emerging online showed that Afrobeats star, Davido was in attendance, including controversial media personality, Daddy Freeze.

Reacting to Davido's presence at Pastor Tobi Adegboyega's birthday party, Ossai Ovie Success slammed the clergyman and described him as an embarrassment to the gospel. He advised him to ask God for forgiveness.

He stressed that he didn't feel the Holy Spirit's presence in the birthday party, and he argued that Gospel Ministers should have been invited to minister at the party instead of inviting Davido.

He made this known via his Instagram page.
"I’m disappointed in Pastor Tobi for inviting Davido to his birthday party

This is an embarrassment to the Gospel, He should ask God for forgiveness.

Pastor Tobi celebrated his birthdayyesterday night and invited Davido to perform.

However, I didn’t feel the Holy Spirit’s presence, as the party was inconsistent with pastoral values.

As the founder of Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church, Pastor Tobi Adegboyega’s actions appeared unrighteous, embarrassing the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

As a pastor, he should have invited Gospel musicians to come and minister to his guests and save souls to the kingdom of God.

Why does Pastor Tobi consistently bring embarrassment to the Gospel?

He should reconsider identifying as a pastor, as his actions lack the fruit of the Spirit.

A pastor cannot celebrate birthdays with secular performances.

It’s inconsistent.
I’m disappointed in Pastor Tobi.
Pastor Tobi should ask God for forgiveness for he has sinned against God."
