Popular veteran Nollywood actress, Ngozi Nwosu, has recounted how she was on her own during her sickness.

She explained that when she battled kidney illness, she did not receive any sort of help or support from her state, which has made her decide that she would never render any free services to them.

She made this known during an interview with Nollywood on Radio, she noted that she is fron Abia state, and would never render any help or service to her state unless she is paid handsomely.

"I have personally decided that there is nothing my Abia State will call me for, that I would go for free.

“They would pay through their nose for me to go. I’m from Arochukwu local government area of the state.

“It was the fame I had through the roles I played in a series that helped me when I needed help because the person who reached out to the Lagos state government to save my life did that because she loves me as her favorite actor."
