Popular Nigerian singer and MAVIN signee, Oyinkonsola Aderibigbe, best known as Ayra Starr, has bagged four nominations for the 2024 MTV Europe Music Awards.

The Rush crooner got nominated in the category of the ‘Best African Act’, ‘Best Push’, ‘Best Afrobeats’ and ‘Best New Artist’ categories.

Ayra Starr was not the only Nigerian artiste, as Burna Boy, Rema, Tems, and Asake also got nominated in the category for ‘Best Afrobeats’ award.

Tyla also got nominated in four categories including

‘Best New’, ‘Best Afrobeats’, ‘Best African Act’ and ‘Best R&B.'

The award show is set to take place on Sunday November 10, 2024, at Manchester’s Co-op Live in the UK.
