Critic, Daniel Regha has stated that self acclaimed African Giant, Burna Boy is not among the Big 3.

The Big 3 in no particular order includes, Davido, Wizkid and Burna Boy have been dominating the Nigerian music industry for sometime now, with solid fans behind each of them.

However, Regha believe that Burna Boy is not among them, but instead Olamide, Davido and Wizkid.

According to him, Burna Boy should be among the Big 4 or 5, which is down to the criteria used in determining it.

He wrote on X:
"Burna doesn't rank amongst the Big 3, these spots go to Olamide, Davido, & Wizkid; At the moment Burna takes the 4th or 5th spot depending on the criteria used, cos another artiste that can easily take the 4th spot is Kizz Daniel."

Quoting his initial tweet, he emphasized on the criteria for being among the Big 3 or Big 4, as longevity not just streams or global recognition.

He wrote:
"When discussing about the Big 3/4, it shouldn't be centered on awards, streams, or global recognition alone; Take into consideration the longevity of the artistes in question, & the impact of their work. Don't forget that artistes of nowadays have it easy thanks to streaming platforms & social media."
