Popular Nigerian singer, songwriter and producer, Augustine Miles Kelechi, professionally known as Tekno, has refuted the claims of him collapsing while performing on stage.

The news of the singer collapsing on stage, while performing in South Africa, was all over social media. The video of a singer, who seemingly collapsed and was carried by some able-bodied men shook the internet, and many believed it was Tekno.

Reacting to the claims, Tekno stated that he is doing very well and he did not collapse, neither is he in South Africa.

He wrote on his Instagram page:
“Hey guys, I’m hale and hearty and not currently in South Africa. I hope whoever that was in the video is doing well and ok. Thank you, guys. Love you."
