Nigerian singer, Olorunyomi Oloruntimilehin, best known as Bad Boy Timz, has made a wish as he celebrates his 25th birthday.

The singer wished to be able to see clearly with his two eyes, even if it's for just a day.

He wrote on X:
“My only birthday wish is to be able to see with my two eyes again, even if it’s for one day! Happy Birthday Ayo 🎂.”

Many fans were concerned and surprised at the singer's prayer and in light of this, The Nigerian Voice is going to refresh the memory of many about Bad Boy Timz’s eyesight issue.

The singer was in a conversation with Adesope Olajide, a Nigerian media personality based in the UK, last year, where Bad Boy Timz opened up on how he got shot in the eye during an assassin attack on his family in the Mushin area of Lagos several years ago.

In the conversation, exclusively reported by Pulse Nigeria, Bad Boy Timz said:

"They were assassins, they didn’t even stop the car, they just shot the bunnet and started spraying. It wasn’t a robbery and they were looking for an Igbo family. When they heard my mum say e je kin ko awon omo mi, they were surprised.

It was me, my mum, my dad and my immediate older brother, it was just four of us in the car in Lagos, Mushin to be precise. They just overtook us and started shooting, they didn’t even tell us to stop and I got shot in the eye because they were targeting my dad’s head and it went straight into my eye.”

Following Bad Boy Timz’s prayer on his birthday, many fans prayed for the singer's birthday wish to come to pass, with many emotional at the revelation of the singer's eyesight issue.
