The traditional wedding of popular Afrobeats star, Davido and his wife, Chioma Rowland was all over social media recently, however, a new twist has been trending.

Recall that The Nigerian Voice had earlier reported Davido and Chioma had their traditional wedding on 25th June, 2024, which saw celebrities, politicians and individuals from all walks of life present at the traditional wedding.

Surprisingly, Davido has made a shocking comment about the money sprayed at his wedding. He bemoaned how the money sprayed at his wedding was different from the money he and his wife counted at home.

The wedding between the duo saw wads of dollar notes being sprayed due to the law against Naira mutilation, however, Davido has claimed that despite the numerous dollar notes sprayed at his wedding, his calculation at home refused to add up.

He bemoaned on social media under the post of the video of guests spraying money at his wedding. He wrote;

“The video of all the money dem spray is and wetin we carry go house no dey tally.”
