Seun Kuti Stands With VeryDarkMan Amidst Iyabo Ojo Online Ruckus
Social media has been on fire for sometime now since Davido and Chioma's wedding. However, an online ruckus between controversial activist, VeryDarkMan and Iyabo Ojo has been the major topic of discussion.
Recall that The Nigerian Voice reported how VeryDarkMan who got access to Davido's wedding mocked Iyabo Ojo for not being invited for the wedding, but instead being present for the after party which led to a serious online ruckus between Iyabo Ojo, her partner, Paul Okoye, best known as Paulo and Obi Cubana.
The issue between Iyabo Ojo and VeryDarkMan forced her partner, Paulo to order his friends and close associates to stop being friends with VeryDarkMan.
Reacting to Paulo's stance, Seun Kuti, who is also an associate of Paulo and at the same time close to VeryDarkMan, has commented on the issue by stating that he cannot dissociate himself from VeryDarkMan.
He criticised the decision of Paulo and stated that no one has the right to impose a decision on him and VeryDarkMan is very important to the society, as he has helped solve various humanitarian cases with his call-out of celebrities.
He said on Instagram;
“I have a good relationship with Paulo but that doesn’t give him the right to order me publicly. Even if Paulo has helped me, he can’t order me publicly. If he had called me on the phone, I would probably have cut ties with VDM by now. Because I don’t know how much the beef is worth to him,” he said.
“So that’s what I see in the relationship that we all have with ourselves in Nigeria. VDM for me is a necessity. VeryDarkMan is a necessity. Because he can do the personal. But I don’t know how to. VeryDarkMan can bring the people against the agents of corrupt politicians. Those people with the spirits of the politicians. Those politicians enablers who use their fame to bully the powerless.”
He further said; “elders must earn respect.”
