Popular singer, Michael Adebayo Olayinka, simply known as Ruger, has surprisingly made a revelation about the number of talented artistes in Nigeria.

The “Girlfriend" crooner spoke about this in an interview with Cool FM, Lagos, where he claimed that many Nigerian artistes do not make good music, but are bent on just singing anything for fame.

Surprisingly, he stated that he does not think that the talented artistes who make good music are up to a total number of 5 in the country.

He said;
“I’m not the biggest artiste in Nigeria but talentwise, I’m standing somewhere there. We are not up to 5,” he said.

“I won’t say where I am on the list but I’m there. It’s not up to five. Most people are just singing for cruise but we [the talented artists], we make music.”
