Pope Francis Disturbed By Incessant Kidnappings In Nigeria
The head of the Catholic Church, the Bishop of Rome and Sovereign of the Vatican State, Pope Francis has shared his concerns as regarding the high rate of incessant kidnappings in Nigeria.
The spiritual head of the Catholic Church worldwide took to the popular microblogging platform X formerly known as Twitter to express his concern at the kidnappings in Nigeria and hopes that it would be put to bed soon.
Pope Francis wrote; “The increasingly frequent kidnappings in Nigeria are extremely concerning. I express my closeness in prayer to the Nigerian people, hoping that efforts will be made to contain the spread of these incidents as much as possible.”
