Basketmouth, the Nigerian comedian whose real name is Bright Okpocha, recently disclosed that the N30,000 fee that his colleague AY claimed was the reason for their rift is not actually the issue.

He made this revelation during an interview with OAP Nedu on ‘The Honest Bunch,’ which was shared on social media on Monday.

According to Basketmouth, the reason for the conflict between him and AY was due to something he overheard, which he was not supposed to know.

He was shocked and could not confront AY about it, so he distanced himself from him. There was no client involved, and when he heard that AY was not paid, he instructed Magnus to pay him.

However, AY removed that information from his story. Basketmouth said that he was not surprised by AY's behavior because he was expecting it, and there was never a time when they were friends.
