"He Can Do Better Than This" CDQ Slams Asake - Media Users Drag CDQ For His Remark
Social media goes mad at Popular Nigerian rapper CDQ after he slammed his colleague's forthcoming song.
Recall that The Nigerian Voice reported the release of a new song snippet on Sunday by singer Asake on all his official pages, IG and Twitter. This snippet as indicated by media users was good music.
The snippet however was released after his first song of the year, 2023 titled Yoga. The song, Yoga, was equally condemned in roughly all quarters, though. It was stated by critics that it had a spiritual taste and lacked good vibes and an intro.
The release of his snippet has earned Asake again the interest of music lovers as the song was welcomed with mixed reactions. While many hailed him, only a few people had something otherwise to contribute.
On this note, CDQ, a popular Nigerian singer took to his social media to review Asake's snippet. This was when he asserted subtly that Asake lacks creativity and that he uses the same sounds every time. He recalled that it was the same sound he used in one of his hit songs, Palazo.
His words read:
He wrote, “Sounds like Palazzo, he can do better than this tho.”
Moreover, a social media user on the other end was appalled by singer CDQ's review of Asake's music. He took to his social media to critically slam CDQ. This was when he recounted that despite efforts by the YBNL boss to make CDQ grow, he remains unprogressive
