As the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced Ahmed Tinubu the winner of the just concluded general election, the nation is thrown into ecstatic mood. Popular Nollywood actors and politician, Desmond Elliot, actress Eniola Badmus and other loyalists flood the street of Lagos to jubilate and celebrate , Jagaban, the winner.

Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Mahmood Yakubu declared Ahmed Bola Tinubu the winner of the 2023 presidential election at 3am of March 1.

The election that was conducted on Saturday Feb 25, 2023 has made Tinubu the President-elect. He polled a total of 8,794,726 to defeat his closest rivals and candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi of the Labour Party, LP scored 6,984, 520 and 6,101,533 respectively.

In show of joy towards the victory, Desmond Elliot who has been in the Lagos State House since April 2015 till date under the party APC joined people in the street of Lagos to celebrate Tinubu’s victory.

Sharing a video with fellow Lagosians, he wrote, “Congratulations Naija Renewed Hope !!! JAGABAN Hope Renewed !!!”
