An underlying factor has been suspected to have contribute to the decision of a female student of Yaba college of Technology (YABATECH) to take her life after her boyfriend called for the end of their relationship.

The lady who is yet to be identified is suspected to have taken her own life because of her commitment to her boyfriend.

In a video making the rounds online, there was uproar in Yabatech's girls’ hostel when the news broke that the girl drank sniper- a harzadous liquid substance following the heartbreak.

The women that mustered around the corpse were so critical about the ludicrous decision taken by the lady. Some of them could be heard on the top of their voices saying that nothing should have warranted her to take her life

However, the underlying factor leading to the lady's decision was her prio abortion for her boyfriend. She was said to have take her life for losing her boyfriend after having abortion for him.

According to a source who shared the story on social media, the girl died an hour after taking the sniper in her hostel room.

The source reads, “Girls, don’t act like who they claim we are. Boys, don’t do what you can’t handle or control After doing abortion for a guy, and 1 female drank two snipers because the so-called boyfriend said he’s not doing again. Under one hour she died”.
