It’s has not been an easy ride leading a community for a year now in office but for the Oluwo of Iwoland, Rasheed Adewale Akanbi Telu, it has just been the grace of God.

Better known as Emperor Telu, reflecting on how far he has come within one year in office, it is not how well but the smiles he has been able to put on the faces of the people of his community.

He assumed his duty on the 9th of November, 2015, and exactly a year now, he has been able to boast that the journey has rather been a serious one which has brought about great change to the people of Iwo land.

Emperor Telu’s works have not gone unnoticed ranging from the provision of electricity to his people to the provision of rural infrastructure, coupled with some charitable projects and availing the opportunity for the establishment of the National Open University (NOUN) in the community and many other laudable projects are just the few one can mention but a trip to the ancient town will reveal the transformation God has used him to do.
