Following his prediction that the Nigerian entertainment industry would experience several deaths last year, the founder of INRI Evangelical Mission, Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele, has predicted that the movie industry will record more deaths in 2009.
The man of God, who is popularly known for his accurate predictions, has called on Nollywood personalities to be more prayerful in order to avert more deaths this year.
“Two more prominent actors will die this year. The practitioners need to move closer to God and be more prayerful, if this calamities must be averted,” Ayodele has predicted.
While stressing that there is every need for practitioners in the industry to be closer to God, Ayodele noted that the calamities that had befallen the industry cannot be unconnected with the fact that most of the practitioners are not prayerful.
Shortly after he predicted that Nollywood would witness a harvest of deaths, the Muyideen Alade Aromire, Mama Ajasco, Alaran, Koledowo and Orlando Owoh among others died in quick succession.
