The weeklong Toronto International film festival kicked off on Thursday.

The 41st edition of the festival is focusing on the city of Lagos and as a result will feature eight movies from the city of Lagos.

It is yet another clear indication that Nollywood is pushing boundaries.

Here are the eight feature movies which made the cut;
