Many might not know, but Sidney Onariode Esiri, popularly called Dr Sid has been in the music industry for 13 years now.

In a recent interview with leadership newspaper, the dentist turn artiste revealed that he would not be putting up his album this year but till 2017.

Aside singing, the artiste has also revealed a side of him that is unknown by many, as he disclosed he owns a production outfit and he is warming up on his second passion, film making.

Late Veteran actor, Justice Esiri was his father, and it appears Dr Sid wants to continue his father's career, by going into the movie industry as a film maker.

In his words: “My father was an actor. My own is movie production. Even though I have acted in a movie before, but the thing is that I have always had a passion for movie production right from the start. My hobbies are playing video games and watching anything movies. I am a film critic. I look for flaws; I look for the ingenious ways things are done in films. I watch a lot of behind the scenes. I have the utmost respect for anyone that makes films, adverts, music video in the country. It is simply not easy to make anything great in such an environment.”
