Ace Dj, Jimmy Jatt was recently interviewed by Hip TV; the entertainer revealed that for him, there are independent labels in Nigeria not record labels.

He probably said so due to the rate artiste has been opening their own record label, even when some artiste's career isn't ripe enough for them to be independent.

In his words: “There is no record label but independent label, when an artiste feels they can do for themselves what a label does, they just feel it make sense for them to leave.”
