Nigerian movie has recorded another tragedy following the passing away of Abiodun Ibitola, the managing director of Remdel Optimum Communications and producer of "Afonja," "Owo Eje,” passed away.

It was gathered that the filmmaker passed away while receiving treatment at a hospital in Ile-Ife, Osun State.

Late Ibitola was the founder and a trustee of The Independent Film and Video Producers and Marketers Association of Nigeria.
