Ooni Launches N60m Nigerian Made Buses For Mass Transit.
His Imperial Majesty, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, yesterday Thursday 28th January 2016 formally launched "Olofin Adimula Mass Transit Scheme" worth N60 million to force down transport fares.
Speaking during the launch at his Ile-Oodua palace in Ile-Ife, the Arole Oodua said that the air-conditioned 30 seater buses as an initiative in fulfillment of his developmental agenda for ameliorating the suffering of his people both within and outside Ife Kingdom would be managed by Olofin Microfinance Bank Limited.
He describing the scheme as a unique and important capable of promoting cultural tourism of Ile-Ife, he assured it would reduce travelling challenges faced by commuters.
The royal father stated that Ile-Ife is blessed with natural and human resources including Obafemi Awolowo University and teaching hospital which neighbouring towns are benefitting from.
