It is no longer news that several odd months have passed since Toke Makinwa separated from her hubby, Maje Ayida, but there are strong indications that all will be settled soon. We learnt buttons are being pressed underground to bring the strange couple together again.

According to a source who spoke exclusively with Entertainment Express, Toke and Maje are now back on speaking terms, but are yet to move in back together as husband and wife.

“They are really taking it very slowly and naturally and don't want to rush things up. Toke has been very cooperative with her man and has forgiven him although it was not easy for her at all. They now exchange phone calls and messages and have met a couple of times. I can't tell you more than that please, so I don't get into trouble,” the online news platform quoted its source to have said.

It was also hinted that the couple will no longer bring their private affairs into public domain and may never be spotted together. “It's a ground rule that both parties have agreed to for obvious reasons,” said the source.

Toke and Maje got married last year, but separated under controversial circumstances earlier in the year when news reached Toke that her hubby had secretly impregnated his former lover.
