Why I ‘Worship’ Asa, Don Jazzy—Korede Bello
Not many would have given Korede Bello a chance like Don Jazzy did when he signed the young singer unto Mavin Records.
In fact, some pundits thought the 'Godwin' crooner would just be a flash in the pan like many Nigerians artistes today.
But the graduate of Journalism from the Nigerian Institute of Journalism in Ogba, Lagos, has proven to be a singer that has come to stay.
Korede Bello just released a single he did with international music star, Asa and he has explained why he is a huge fan of the Nigerian singer.
"I vividly remember listening to Don Jazzy's beats with some of my friends and be like 'Jazzy's surely one of the greatest producers that Africa has produced.' I also remember buying Asa's album when it came out, (it is) probably the first music CD I ever bought with my money," he said.
