Paul Play Copy Right Suit Adjourned Again
The court battle between award winning music act, Paul I.K. Dairo popularly known as Paul Play and telecoms giant, Etisalat has been postponed.
A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos presided over by Justice Aneke, reportedly adjourned proceedings till November 23, 2015, due to the alleged copyright infringement suit filed by the music star, Paul Play against Etisalat.
Paul Play is seeking an order of the court requesting Etisalat and others to pay him N200m for falsely making use of his 2009 hit track, 'Mosorire' without his consent.
Paul Play explained that Etisalat used 'Mosorire' in its popular television reality show, Nigerian Idol for two consecutive years without paying him.
However, the case has been adjourned till November 23, 2015.
