Wizkid Honours Victims Of Ojuelegba Bridge Accident, Mobbed On Stage
Sensational pop singer, Wizkid, on Sunday, September 7, 2015, paid last respect for victims of last Monday's container accident at Ojuelegba bridge in Lagos.
About three persons were reportedly feared dead last Monday when a truck carrying a container fell off the bridge and smashed not less than two vehicles under the bridge with their occupants.
During his performance at the Glo Lafta Fest held at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos yesterday, the singer, while performing his 'Ojuelegba' hit track, held a one-minute silence for the victims.
The singer prayed that God grants families of the victims the fortitude to bear the great loss. He thereafter went on to perform the song.
Also, the multiple award-winning artiste was mobbed by some excited fans on stage at the event.
His bodyguards had a hectic day controlling the fans, who jumped on the stage to hug the singer. His manager, Sunday Are, was also spotted by Nollywoodgists.com trying to stop the singer from moving too close to the over excited fans.
