A source close Fuji lord, Pasuma, has informed Nollywoodgists.com one of the main reasons the musician decided to explore hip hop genre of music.

It is a common knowledge that the Fuji artiste has not hidden his love for hip hop. Before now, he has tried to relate well with artistes in that genre of music, a thing most Fuji musicians find difficult to do.

According to the source, Pasuma delved into hip hop because of corporate deals and recognitions such artistes get, which hardly come the way of Fuji singers.

“Pasuma wants to penetrate into the corporate bodies which pay well to get the services of hip hop artistes in Nigeria. He wants to try his luck to see if things will go as planned. With that, he is sure of more deals from respected organisations.

“You see, most corporate bodies don't want to associate themselves with Fuji artistes because of the way many people view them as hooligans. Pasuma is just trying to be very different,” the source told Nollywoodgists.com.

Pasuma currently has songs like 'Abo', 'Omo Olope', 'O ti Clear', 'Ife' and 'Ogede Ti Pon'. He has featured top stars including Tiwa Savage.
