UNIPORT Honours Burna Boy’s Grandfather
Nigerian singer, Burna Boy, is currently so proud of his grandfather, Benson Idonije, after he was recently honoured at the University of Port Harcourt, Uniport, for his outstanding role in the growth of the media industry.
The award is coming few weeks after the septuagenarian broadcaster, media trainer, Benson Idonije was honoured at the just concluded 3rd edition of the Nigerian Entertainment Conference.
Benson Idonije happens to be Burna Boy's grandfather and a onetime manager of the late Fela Anikulapo Kuti about whom he is writing a soon-to-be-released book titled 'DIS FELA SEF.'
He was been honoured with a fellowship of the Adam Fiberesima School of Music and Conservatory (AFSM) of the University of Port Harcourt.
