Classic 97.3 FM Presenter, Sly Is Dead
According to reports reaching Nollywoodgists.com, an On Air Personality (OAP) with Classic FM in Lagos State, Sylvester O. Ojigbede, otherwise known as Sly, has passed on.
The popular radio presenter died few hours ago after a brief illness.
Until his death, the young and vibrant Sly anchored the morning show (6am to 11am) on the radio station from Mondays to Thursdays, as well as the Classic X-Press (6am to noon) on Saturdays on the urban FM station notable for creating nostalgic feelings among listeners with tunes from the past.
Sly was born in the 70s, according to what we gathered, and was an Economics graduate of the University of Lagos. He worked in the advertising, mortgage and commercial banking sectors before embracing the microphone at Classic FM.
He was reputed as a hardworking OAP, who took his job very seriously and was always on hand to help colleagues out even when he was not officially due to be on duty.
