Buhari's Political Ally Dies In Senegal
The National Coordinator of the Buhari Integrity Group, Alhaji Mubashiru Aliyu Bawan Allah, is dead. He passed on in a mosque during the two Rakaat prayers, before the commencement of the Juma'at prayer in Kaulaha city, in Senegal. The political stalwart was aged 55.
The death was confirmed by the deceased's elder brother, Barrister Muhammad Auwal Bidda, "Nobody wants to die, but I would like to die in a similar way because he died in prostration, while on a visit to a mosque in Kaulaha,” Bidda said.
Late Aliyu had been the initiator of the grassroot campaign group 'Buhariyya Movement' which was formed last August for Buhari ahead of forthcoming presidential elections.
He had also been the former chairman of the defunct Congress for Progressives Change (CPC) in Plateau State. The late Aliyu has been buried according to Muslim rites.
He left behind a wife, Hajiya Maryam, seven children and an aged mother, Hajiya Hadiza Aliyu Bawan Allah.
