9ice has also lost his APC Primaries for Ogbomosho North/Ogbomosho South/Orire Federal Constituency. He lost to Prince Akeem Oyewunmi.

Abolore Akande better known as 9ice, managed a total number of 142 votes while Akeem reportedly got a total of 270 votes. It is a fatal blow to the singer's plan to represent his people at the Federal House of Representatives in Abuja.
