Nigerian Entertainers Neglects Taiwo Oshadipe’s Candle Light and Burial [Pictures]
What a pity for the Nigerian entertainment industry as yet again they refuse to turn up for the candle light procession for late Taiwo Oshadipe which took place on the 14th October, 2014 at the Lagos State Television hall and also at the burial place which took place the following day which was Wednesday 15th, 2014. Recalled that the singer and actress, Taiwo, died on Friday, October 3, 2014.
The funeral was a one-hour affair with just the family members. The procession was a downright emotional one with Kehinde calling her twin sister's name, 'Taiwo, Taiwo Why did you leave me?'
The white and gold casket cover bearing the remains of Taiwo, was designed in the form of a bible which represented the gospel music of her life which she lived for with her sister, Kehinde.
Though, it would be said in defense that the burial was strictly a family thing, but the entertainment industry should have sent representatives to pay their last respect to the late entertainer.
Entertainers, should the family be abandoned at this time of mourning that you could not show some respect by attending her burial events both actors and musician? What a shame.
