The oldest pastor in Nigeria, Pa Samuel Sadela has died at the age of 114. The late cleric, who was also the founder and President of Gospel Apostolic Church, died yesterday, Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at his church premises.

Already, the church has opened a condolence register for sympathisers.

Pa Sadela was born in 1900 and started his pastoral journey in 1928. He made news headlines in 2007 when at the age of 107 years, took a 30-year-old lady as wife, six years after his second wife passed away.

According to information gathered by Nollywoodgists.com, Pa Sadela hailed from Ondo State and first got married in 1934. The union lasted 21 years, but none of the couple's seven children lived beyond their infancy.

He later got married for the second time in 1965 and was blessed with four children, but only two survived. His second wife died in 2001.
