World Cup Affected ‘Bring Back Our Girls’ Campaign—Koffi
Ace comedian, Koffi has stated that the tempo of the 'BringBackOurGirls' campaign reduced because of the just-concluded World Cup.
He noted that since the football competition kicked off a month ago, the intensity of the campaign has reduced, which he says is dangerous.
Over 200 schoolgirls were kidnapped in Chibok, Borno State on April 15, 2014 by members of Boko Haram and since then, they have been in custody of the terrorists and the government is yet to rescue the girls, who are mostly teenagers.
The comedian urged Nigerians to use various social media platforms to press for the release of the innocent girls.
Also, popular comedian, Gbenga Adeyinka called on Nigerians to intensify the 'BringBackOurGirls' campaign to reawaken the government.
